SPRING 2025- ilFFA ELITE training program
ILFFA ELITE TRAINING:
Designed by ILFFA Owner & US Women's Futsal National Team (Assistant Coach) Daniel Mattos and ILFFA Technical Director Hugo Fonseca, players will be added to a specialized training program focused solely on Individual Tactics (see below). This program is targeted to dedicated players looking to enhance their development through the benefits of Futsal. It will serve for: continuous development, preparation for Summer Futsal & upcoming Winter program.
Players attending 80% of the sessions will receive a complementary Individual Tactical Evaluation; the program curriculum will include:

⚽️Fast Pace Environment

Time: Groups will utilize one of the 2 time slots:
U8-U12 Fridays 5:30-6:45pm and Sundays 5-6:15pm
U12/13-U16 Fridays 6:45-8pm and Sundays 6:15-7:30pm
Age Groups: U8-U17 (2017-2008) Boys and Girls
Location: Canlan Libertyville - 1950 N Us Highway 45. Libertyville, IL 60048
Fee - $350

IMPORTANT: This is a Training Only Program. Players will be placed in the most appropriate group considering gender, age and level - accessed by coaches after 1-2 sessions. No teams will be formed to participate in tournaments, but Winter Academy teams may stay together. Daniel Mattos - ILFFA Founder and Executive Director
After growing up playing for several youth soccer and futsal academies in Brazil, Daniel moved to the United States in 2006 with a 100% athletic scholarship to play for Penn State University. Later, he transferred to the University of West Florida where he finished his college playing career and a degree in Business Administration, minor in Marketing. Later Daniel pursued his MBA in Business Administration at Eastern Michigan University. He has vast coaching experience in youth and college level soccer (Assistant Coach for Madonna University for 2 seasons). In 2014, Daniel co-founded and started as a Technical Director for the Michigan Futsal Factory Academy program. In 2016 he brought the program to Illinois and founded the IL Futsal Factory Academy.
Coaching: - USSF A License - US Women's Futsal National Team - Assistant Coach (Present) - US Men's Cerebral Palsy National Team - Assistant Coach (2023-2024) - US Youth Futsal Level 3 Certificate - CBF Futsal & Soccer Talent Development Certificate - 15+ years experience coaching Futsal and Soccer in the Midwest Playing: - US Men's Futsal National Team - 2015-2022 - US Men's National Team qualified for the 2021 FIFA World Cup - Milwaukee Wave MASL - College: Penn State and University of West Florida - Youth: member of several Futsal and Soccer Academies in Brazil such as: Fluminense, Madureira, Tio Sam and Goias. |

Hugo Fonseca - ILFFA Technical Director
After growing up playing futsal in Brazil, Hugo played professionally futsal for one year and then he played college for Celso Lisboa also in Brazil. After 3 years as a technical assistant at an academy club in Brazil he came to the US in 2018 to work as Head Coach with Soccer and Futsal with TetraBrazil company. He has 7 years as a head coach and trainer in US with youth teams and also working with another programs like Soccer Camps and Schools.
