Cleveland xtreme Academy to become ohio futsal factory academy

We are proud to announce our new partnership with Cleveland Xtreme as they become Ohio Futsal Factory Academy. Owner Kevin Hatch and US Men's Futsal National Team Player Antonio Manfut will bring another first class academy through Futsal Factory. Executive Director Drew Ducker stated, "We are thrilled to have both Kevin and Antonio on board with us. Expanding our brand into Ohio will allow both of us to grow at a much larger scale. Not only will we have two established academies with a great staff, but we will also have opportunities for our players to do some joint programs together in the future. We are very excited about our new satellite branch and looking forward to their success."

Coach daniel makes the final roster of 14 for Us men's futsal national team world cup qualifiers

A huge congratulations to our technical director of Michigan Futsal factory academy Daniel Mattos. He is headed to Costa Rica with the US men's Futsal national team as they take on Canada May 4 and 5 at 8 PM in a pre-qualifier into CONCACAF to qualify for the Futsal World Cup. Good luck to Daniel and team USA and stay tuned for an update on how to watch the game live.

Coach daniel and coach ducks headed to argentina in preparation for concacaf world cup qualifiers

Michigan Executive Director Drew Ducker and Michigan Technical Director Daniel Mattos are headed to Argentina with the Men's US Futsal National Team. In preparation for CONCACAF, they will play against Argentina 4 times over their 10 day trip. Check out our Facebook page for updates.

"Rafa" added to staff as keeper trainer

Michigan Futsal Factory announces “Rafa” to join the staff as the clubs official Keeper Coach. “Rafa” is from Brasil and played Futsal professionally for several years. He now plays for MASL Detroit Waza and coaches in the local community. Ducks commented, “He is a high level keeper and knows the game very well from the keeper perspective. He is will an immediate asset to our keepers here at Futsal Factory and we are pleased to have him join us.”

Michigan Futsal Factory Adds New Staff Members

Michigan Futsal Factory would like to introduce 4 new staff members to this years academy teams. Please welcome the below:

Jon Schack
Jon brings a wealth of knowledge as a coach to our staff. Already certified through the USYF Level 3 Futsal Course, Jon will add another dynamic in teaching players Futsal. Born and raised in Farmington Hills, he is a local with lots of experience in soccer both as a player and coach. Jon currently has his USSF "D" License and works with ODP and Wolves-Hawks.

Zane Polack
Zane's experience as a Professional Indoor Soccer player and youth coach will create another positive addition to the staff. His energy and knowledge as a coach paired with his understanding of the game at a high level will help our players. He currently holds his USSF "C" License and coaches with Waza East

Ricardo Lopez
Born in Brasil and playing Futsal growing up, Ricardo is no stranger to the benefits of Futsal. Spending the last 5 years playing Professional Indoor Soccer and Pro Futsal exhibition games, Ricardo's knowledge of Futsal will help us get to the next level. Ricardo currently coaches with Birmingham United.

Moses Mlotha
Moses is a Futsal fanatic who understands the benefits of Futsal at the youth level and is a fantastic youth trainer. His love of the game will push players to become more passionate about developing through Futsal. Moses currently coaches for Ann Arbor United.

Danilo Riella
Danilo, from Brasil, played Futsal growing up until he was recruited by Jackson College in Michigan. Young, energetic, and a knack for Futsal, Danilo knows the game and will continue to get better the more he coaches the game. He also works with Jackson Rush

coach ducks trip with the united states Men's futsal national team to costa rica, Coach Daniel Added to Mens Futsal National Team pool

Coach Ducks joined US Men's Futsal National Team on their trip to Costa Rica November 2-9. It was Coach Ducks first appearance in almost ten years. Ducks commented on the trip, saying, "I'm very fortunate to get yet another opportunity to represent the National Team. It's been almost ten years since I've been called up. It's not many times you get second chances. I prepared as best as I could and felt that I played well. The level was very high but the team got better each game. It was the team's first step in a long road to the World Cup in Colombia next September."

Ducks went on to congratulate Daniel, saying, "It's great for our program to have two guys currently on the National Team. Once Daniel recovers from his current injury, he will be an asset to the National Team and has a nice career ahead of him." Congratulations to Coach Daniel for being selected into the National Team Pool. We wish them both well on the Road to the World Cup.

Coach Daniel to serve as Technical director

Congratulations to Coach Daniel Mattos on his announcement as Technical Director of Michigan Futsal Factory Academy. He will oversee the development of players and coaches within the Academy. Daniel's experience in Futsal as a player and coach will help guide the Academy into the winter of 2015.

Executive Director Coach Ducks commented, "Daniel's futsal background is by far one of the most experienced in Michigan, as a player and a coach. He is an enormous asset to the Academy and I'm very glad to have him on board as the technical director. He will be an integral part of the Academy's expansion this year. I look forward and having him play a pivotal role in our program."

Every touch of the ball raised cheers or gasps of disbelief as Brazilian futsal icon Falcão displayed his flair from a bag of tricks that seemed bottomless. Team PFL took its first lead of the game, 2-1, with 7:08 remaining as Ducks drove home a goal through a crowded area with a sharp pass from Bernardo Palaus. Ultimately, Falcão and Team PFL defeated Australia’s Fremantle Muita Calma Futsal Club in the 2015 PFL SuperCopa on penalty kick tiebreakers.

Our very own Coach Daniel played Friday night in Dallas with Team USA against Barcelona. Even though the team lost 4-3, Coach Daniel had two fantastic goals and a great assist. We are proud to have him with us at Michigan Futsal Factory.
