Daniel Mattos
WIFFA Program Director and Coach
After growing up playing for several youth soccer and futsal academies in Brazil, Daniel moved to the United States in 2006 with a 100% athletic scholarship to play for Penn State University. Later, he transferred to the University of West Florida where he finished his college playing career and a degree in Business Administration, minor in Marketing. Later Daniel pursued his MBA in Business Administration at Eastern Michigan University. He has vast coaching experience in youth and college level soccer (Assistant Coach for Madonna University for 2 seasons). In 2014, Daniel co-founded and started as a Technical Director for the Michigan Futsal Factory Academy program. In 2016 he brought the program to Illinois and founded the IL Futsal Factory Academy.

Marcio Leite
WIFFA Program Director and Coach
After growing up playing for several Futsal Academies in Brazil, Marcio Signed for Malwee/Jaragua Futsal in 2005 where he won the Brazilian National Championship in 2005 and the Brazilian National Cup in 2006. Malwee/Jaragua was the top Professional Futsal Club in Brazil for many years and where Marcio played with Falcao - the Best Futsal Player of All-Time.
In late 2006, Marcio signed with the Milwaukee Wave professional Indoor team and he has been playing for them since. Marcio started coaching in 2008 for Lake Country United and in 2012 he moved to SC Waukesha now know as SC Wave where he has won 13 State cup Championships and many appearances in the Regionals Championships semifinals and finals. Education Marcio has his USSF “A” National Youth License and he is currently the MLS NEXT Director for SC WAVE. Playing Marcio is going to his 16th season with the Milwaukee Wave. He has won 4 championships in the League and was named the Championship MVP twice. He has many appearances in the All-League First and Second team. Marcio credits most of his success due to all the years playing Futsal in Brazil at the highest level. |
Ian Bennet
Coach
Selected for Canadian National futsal team in 2011 and been apart of 3 World Cup qualifications in 2012, 2016 and 2021.
Signed with the Milwaukee Wave in 2009 and currently still playing for the club. Started coaching in the summer of 2009 for LCU later moved to SC Wave in 2012, where I won 2 state cup titles, regional semi finalist, national league playoff champions and national semi finalist. Education - U.S Soccer National C coaching license. Playing - Outdoor with Charleston Battery, Richmond kickers and Rochester Rhinos. - Indoor Chicago Storm, Florida Tropics and Milwaukee Wave. - 3 MASL championship - Winner of 2 golden boots - 1 League MVP - Many 1st-team and 2nd-team appearances |
Luan Oliveira
Coach
Grew up playing on Arquidiocesano futsal academy where he was able to go to Nationals twice in a row and placed 4th in 2003. Started playing futsal as a pro at age of 17 and played for several pro teams in Sergipe state and one year in Parana state (2008) – which is one of the top three leagues in the country.
In 2011 he graduated in Physical Education at Universidade Tiradentes. In 2012 he signed for the Milwaukee Wave and in 2015 for the San Diego Sockers and coming back to the Wave in 2018 Luan is with SC Wave since he moved to Milwaukee in 2012 and 2018. Education National C license Playing 2012 Rookie of the year 2012 All league second team 1 MASL championship 2018/19 |
