Executive Director and Coach
After growing up playing for several youth soccer and futsal academies in Brazil, Daniel moved to the States in 2006 with a 100% athletic scholarship to play for Penn State University. Later, he transferred to the University of West Florida where he finished his college playing career and a degree in Business Administration, minor in Marketing. He has vast coaching experience in youth and college level soccer. In 2014, Daniel started as a Technical Director for the Michigan Futsal Factory Academy program and founded the Illinois FFA in 2016.
Daniel currently has his USSF "B" National License and U.S. Youth Futsal National Level 3 coaching Certificate as well as the United Soccer Coaches (former NSCAA) Futsal Level 1 Diploma. In addition to his soccer/sports credentials, Daniel has earned a Master in Business Administration (MBA) at Eastern Michigan University.
Daniel's last professional indoor soccer season was the 2017-18 season with the Milwaukee Wave in the MASL, where he played for 5 seasons. Also, he is a member of US Men's Futsal National Team.
