Daniel Mattos
Executive and Program Director
After growing up playing for several youth soccer and futsal academies in Brazil, Daniel moved to the United States in 2006 with a 100% athletic scholarship to play for Penn State University. Later, he transferred to the University of West Florida where he finished his college playing career and a degree in Business Administration, minor in Marketing. Later Daniel pursued his MBA in Business Administration at Eastern Michigan University. He has vast coaching experience in youth and college level soccer (Assistant Coach for Madonna University for 2 seasons). In 2014, Daniel co-founded and started as a Technical Director for the Michigan Futsal Factory Academy program. In 2016 he brought the program to Illinois and founded the IL Futsal Factory Academy.

RamonCoach
After Ramon's playing days, he is coaching now with the club FC 1974 for two years now. Since completing his bachelor degree and starting his coaching career, Ramon has also worked for the Chicago Fire front office and running in sport clinics/events for local clubs or other sports organizations (Skyhawks Sports Academy).
Education Ramon has a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management from North Central College (Naperville). I am currently holding a USSF "D" License as well as a Soccer Analyst (level 1): Game Analysis. Playing Ramon grew up in the Chicagoland area playing for Eclipse & Chicago Magic DA. His final year of high school, he ended up receiving All-Sectional and All-Area conference (2012). Summer 2013, Ramon played USL 2 with the Westchester Flames NY. After that summer, Ramon Continued his playing career at Benedictine University his Freshmen year and went on to win the NACC conference (2013). Prior from his freshman season, he transferred to Community College to play one season and the last two season, he finished playing at North Central College. |

Dan returned to Western Illinois in 2014 as a Graduate Assistant Coach until 2016. Since completing his Master's Degree, Dan has worked a number of roles as a scout and trainer with U.S. Club Soccer Premier Development Program and with the U.S. Soccer Federation in the Development Academy, working closely with the Youth National Teams, Talent Identification, and Coaching Education Departments.
Education Dan currently holds a USSF "D" License as well as an NSCAA Level 6 Coaching Certificate. Off the field, Dan has earned a Bachelor's Degree from Western Illinois in History minoring in Journalism and a Master's Degree in Sport Management from WIU. Playing Dan grew up in the Chicagoland area playing for Sockers FC Chicago and competed in the very first season of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy from 2007-2008. Upon finishing high school, Dan continued his playing career at Western Michigan University before transferring to Western Illinois University. During his senior year, Dan helped guide Western Illinois to the 2011 Summit League Regular Season and Conference Tournament Championship titles, earning the Leathernecks a place in the Division I NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament. Dan lead the 2011 team in goals scored and was the only player to start all 21 games during the dual championship season. A dual citizen of the U.K. and the United States, Dan spent much of 2012 playing semi-professionally in England, playing for Concord Rangers Football Club in Canvey Island, Essex. While at Concord Rangers, Dan played for current Huddersfield Town manager Danny Cowley. Dan also played with current National League (5th tier) members, Maidenhead United Football Club. |
MATHEUS GUIMARAESCoach
Son of a former professional soccer player, Matheus Guimaraes, grew up playing in some of the most competitive academies in the world. He has lived in Brazil, Japan, Dubai, etc. He moved to the United States in 2011. While here in the States he played for 4 years at Olivet Nazarene University.
Education Matheus has a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. He is currently working on his MBA (Masters of Business Administration) at Robert Morris University, where he also serves as the Graduate Assistant coach of the University's Mens soccer team. Playing Matheus was a 4 year starter and 2 year captain at Olivet Nazarene University. He helped lead the tigers in their first ever Undefeated CCAC Conference championship. He also lead them to 3 national tournament appearances. Matheus was nominated twice for First Team All Conference and was an All-American his Junior year. |
