- 22 min running clock
- If semi’s or finals go to a tie, it goes straight to PK’s (5 per team)

FIFA FUTSAL RULE REMINDERS
- Goal keeper
- No goal kicks, but rather goal throws (The ball DOES NOT have to come out of the arc to be in play but the keeper has 4 seconds to release the ball. After 4 seconds, the whistle blows and the opponents are awarded an indirect free kick at the top of the arc)
- Defending players MUST be outside the arc during a goal throw
- Goal Keeper has 4 seconds on the ball max at all times
- Goal keeper can only possess the ball once a possession and for no more than 4 seconds unless the keeper is over the half way line
- If the keeper is over the half way line, the keeper is considered a field player. However, if the keeper crosses back over the half and touches the ball (Assuming the keeper has possessed the ball during this possession), it would be two possessions and would result in an indirect free kick for the opponent.

- Fouls
- After 5 fouls in a half, the 6th foul is a free kick for the opposing team at the 2nd penalty marker (10 meters)
- Subs
- Subs can be on the fly at ant time during the game
- The player on the court must come completely off the court before the sub can go on and sub at the sub zone only
- If the sub comes on too early, the result is an indirect free kick for the opposing team where the ball is at the time of the whistle as well as a yellow card for the subbed player. And the subbed player must go back off and sub at the next chance
- Kick ins
- No throw ins. There are kick ins. The ball must be ON the line and STOPPED. The player’s foot may be on the court when they take the kick. An illegal kick in (Moving ball or ball not on the line) results in a turnover.
- Players have 4 seconds to get the ball in play as well
- Players defending must be at least 5 meters away from the ball
- Kick ins are indirect
- Free kicks
- Players have 4 seconds to get the ball in play as well

- Kick off
- Players must be 3 meters away and the ball can be played in any direction. The player taking the kick off may be on the other half and the kick off is a direct kick
- Penalty Kicks
- A penalty kick is taken from the top of the arc (Which is 6 meters from the goal line)
- Equipment
- Futsal shoes, flat-soled shoes, or sneakers are the only acceptable footwear. (No cleats of turf shoes are permitted)
- 5th attacker
- If a team chooses to “fly the keeper” as the “5th attacker,” this player needs to have a different color pinnie on to be identified as a keeper and must abide by the rules of the keeper
- The ball
- For players U7 and under, they use a size 2 ball
- For players U8 to U12, they use a size 3 ball
- For players U13 and older, they use a size 4 ball
- The players
- There are 4 field players on the court at one time plus a keeper (5v5)
- Red Card
- In the event of two yellows or a straight red card, that team will play a man down for 2 min or until a goal is scored, whichever comes first.
